At Monster Tree Service®, we offer extensive and ongoing training. We know that the systems an experienced franchise company can provide are helpful in your efforts to build a sustainable business.

A Monster Tree Service® franchise includes two full weeks of initial training, with one week of classroom and hands-on training in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, followed by another full week of personal, onsite training at your location.
These two weeks aren’t required to be back-to-back, but the onsite training does happen during your start-up phase.
You will learn Monster Tree Service® proprietary systems and processes for every part of the business: arborist education, proper tree care, and marketing the business.
Additional training and education programs are available to franchisees as well as periodic onsite consultation by our team of experienced Arborists.
Training sessions are conducted by our professional staff, on topics such as:
- Equipment Usage and Safety
- Public Relations
- Budgeting and Business Planning
- Supplies and Purchasing
- Bookkeeping and Financial Controls
- Advertising and Sales Strategies
- Operations and Management
- Marketing and Digital Strategies
In addition, our team will show you how to provide Estimates in Hours, Not Days™ and operate our exclusive Plant Health Care (PHC) program to add as an additional prong to help generate sales for your business.
Grand Opening Support
To help you launch your new business smoothly after initial training, our experienced Arborists, and Field Operations and Safety Manager will be with you for a week, onsite at your location. You’ll get personal, one-on-one assistance with sales, equipment, scheduling, and more. You will also be provided with quarterly field support from then on.
Ongoing Training & Support
In addition to the initial training class, we provide monthly online training sessions and modules, arborist continuing education, an annual conference, and periodic onsite visits.
You will have access to our extensive library of professionally designed marketing materials developed to help give you a competitive edge. The library includes advertisements, signage, door hangers, videos, and nationally recognized and automated advertising programs.

If you need help or just have a question, you will have the direct email and phone numbers for all of our International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborists, trainers and operations team members so you can get answers to questions that arise.
We are available to assist you with answers, advice, cost-saving hints, and all the expertise that comes from our many years in the tree care Industry.
