You do not. If the owner chooses to be a part of the day-to-day operations, he/she can work as a sales arborist or a manager of the tree crew. • Do you operate your own Monster Tree Service®?
Yes. To help make sure we remain knowledgeable in the tree care industry, we operate our own Monster Tree Service® and continually test new products, equipment, and marketing techniques – so you don’t have to – and then apply what we learn for the benefit of everyone in the Monster Tree Service system. This is a huge advantage compared to companies that just sell franchises. At Monster Tree Service®, we walk the walk and talk the talk.
  • What type of training do you offer?

A Monster Tree Service® franchise includes two full weeks of initial training, with one week of classroom and hands-on training in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, followed by another full week of onsite training at your location. Training continues throughout your term with ongoing education programs and regular onsite support.

To learn more, visit the Training and Support Page.

  • Do you offer continuing support?

Yes. The success of your business is our business, and nobody supports their franchisees better than we do. In addition to the initial training class, we provide onsite assistance during your opening, online training sessions, arborist continuing education, an annual conference, periodic onsite visits during the year, and much more.

To learn more, visit the Training and Support Page.

  • What about competition? I see a lot of tree service trucks on the road.

Small, single-truck operators still dominate the Tree Care Industry. While there are some larger companies, owner/operators who both sell the job and perform the work are still doing most tree service. We believe that a Monster Tree Service® franchise offering exceptional service, branded image, and professionally designed Grand Opening and Monstrous Marketing Strategies has a competitive edge in the marketplace.

To learn more about how Monstrous Marketing will set you apart from the competition, visit the Marketing Page.

  • How big is the tree service industry?
According to the Tree Trimming Services in the U.S. Market Research Report by IBISWorld, an independent research firm, the Tree Care Industry produces over $29 billion in annual sales and is growing at a rate of about 5% each year.
